We've had the best time staying here, With a 7th floor room and private balcony for ocean viewing it couldn't have been any better. The staff is great. The Continental breakfast is nice. The rooms and service currently don’t get 5 stars simply because they were understaffed. During Easter week, i had to wait nearly 2 hours to enter my room simply because there was only one receptionist and only a handful of cleaning staff. I later learned the staff shortage wasn’t due to the holidays but because they are unable to hire, apparently, due to a labor shortage. I would like to pay special thanks to several employees who did their best to make up for the challenges. Lisa, a food runner at breakfast (perhaps other duties and responsibilities), should be working at the front desk because of her cheerful attitude, constant smile and friendly demeanor. Shelly and Jessica at the front desk did their best to work as quickly as possible to get guests into their rooms. But, again, the shortage of room cleaning staff and room inspectors stalled their best efforts. I would stay at this Hampton Inn again to engage with staff member Lisa and of course to have access to the beautiful beach at the hotel.

We had a great experience at this hotel - I first noticed extra care given throughout the hotel by Rick, who I believe is Maintenance? because he was everywhere! Opening the pool deck every morning, checking things through out the property, cleaning up trash from breakfast, refreshing towels, he was everywhere - I hope he is well taken care of because he is such an asset to the location and truly goes above and beyond. As a guest, I noticed! We received room service during our stay and the refresh was amazing and much needed. Breakfast staff is on point and attentive!! Coffee was constantly being refreshed and the food never ran out. I also appreciated the fresh breakfast potatoes that were being peeled and sliced daily - my favorite part of breakfast! The view from our room was top notch, you cant get any more on the beach than this hotel. You can rent chairs and umbrellas, parasail, jet ski and banana boat from the cabana outside the hotel on the beach. Chairs and umbrellas were $50 from 9a-5p. Our highlight was definitely the attentive staff who made our vacation a very pleasant experience from check in to check out, thank you.

Our room was beautiful, the balcony was spacious and had amazing views. The cabana staff setting up chairs were kind and friendly too, not only answering questions but taking the time to speak kindly with us. We felt welcomed in every corner and the laundry service on our floor was such an added convenience. Our shampoo ran out and room service handled it immediately. We were very pleased with breakfast and the bar! We found our forever PCB hotel!
